Battery in wheel house

Lure Lightning

Recommended Posts

Do you think i should do two deep cycle batteries in a 12' wheel house? I will be using it with 2-3 lights furnace fan and the occasional tv. I typically will only be out for a day maybe upto 3... and if I do two what is the best way to wire it up so i dont have to switch the cables around. thanks

I would go with 2 batteries instead of one. More is always better than less. Wire them up in parallel (black to black and red to red). This will keep the voltage 12v but will double your current. If you hooked them up in series, you would have a 24v power source. Hope this helps.

two batterys should be enough to run a couple light for a few days if you only use them at night. If you have a TV on i wouldn't expect them to last more then a couple hours, also if you need them to run your furnace that will also drain them much quicker. If you NEED to watch TV and need the batterys to run your furnace I would buy a honda2000 generator.
