winch mounting?

i just baught a viper winch from motor alliance. i plan on sticking it on my s10 blazer which weighs around 3500 lbs im guessing, think a 10,000 lb winch would get it back out easily? also i was thinking of puting it on a reciever mount and adding a hitch to the front also or is there a way to pull yourself backwards with a front mount winch?

The hitch mount is good because you don't have to leave it on all the time and it doesn't collect ice, dirt, etc. Just put a good mount under front end. Get a pulley block to get more power.
