Just in time!!

Was asked to do a rod for Xmas gift for a vikings fan. Kind of a rush, but turned out pretty well. Just pulled it out of the dryer a little bit ago and did the last minute cleanup.

4 point star wrap with purple background and gold star, framed with white. Walnut handle and nickel inlay with a ship that kinda sorta looks like a Viking ship.

Unfortunately my photo composition is not that artistic and I am still in a bit of a hurry as I need to deliver this thing this am.

Looks good upnorth! I like the handle. How do you finish your wooden handles?

3 coats of spray spar varnish. I know some people use flex coat or the like, I figure wood=varnish or polyurethane.
