I got everything all ready to go out, tested all my equipment...even got my auger going before heading out for the first time. After getting it going, the cord did not retract And it will just spin when I push on it (not jammed) I am not mechanically inclined at all, but I am hoping this might be some quick fix. Any ideas? It is a 1952 auger, but it has run perfectly every year...so I am hoping it is not just the age. Thanks in advance!

We're usually fully stocked but you caught me on a bad night!
Tuesday night is usually "board meeting" night if you know what I mean. Stop in and have a tasty beverage some Tuesday night after these holidays are over and things get back to normal.
