Planer boards and line - what kind?

In line boards I run either 10# Trilene Xt or Power Pro in 2-10. Thats walleye fishing. I go to #30 for Lakers and Salmon because it gets my bait deeper. I also use a mono leader inn the #20 class to my spoon or stickbaits.

Most of the PWT Pros and Guides I've fished with use 10-lb. test XT. Seems to work great. Bruce Mosher

Curious to see what kind of line folks are using with their planer boards and why. I'm not so much worried about the #, that'll depend on what you're after. What does everybody use and why do you like it over the others?

Tks guys. I was debating mono for the stetch to keep hooks from tearing out or Fireline for the thin diameter and extra depth if I need it.
