your opinion, big bucks but not huge??

I have been hunting about 20 miles north of you for the past 10 years. We have been putting in food plots and using trail cams for the past 6-7 years. We have killed several deer over the 150 mark and one giant non typ that grossed out at 183. The genetics are there. Most people hunt this area from pickup truck, sit on a side hill or walk draws. All of which we have tried with poor outcomes. As stated earlier, big mature bucks arent that easy. Doesnt matter where you are. With the number of tags avaliable in the past 10 years, those bucks know what it sounds like to be shot at and they will go nocturnal. I would expect that if you were to have the deer you are seeing aged they would be 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 year olds. We use tower blinds and sit and watch. It is at times agoizingly boring to sit in a 4x4 plywood box for day after day but I will try to post a pic of the rewards. My brother killed this deer two years ago. Green score gross was 172. There are Several huge bucks Killed out of this area every year so hang in there and keep trying
