Browning Maxus

Recommended Posts

Anyone shoot one or know someone that does? Are they reliable.

I might buy a new gun and looking at the Maxus or Montefeltro. The Maxus fits me better and I think I'll like it.But I don't have experience with Browning or know anyone that shoots one.

I have one and I love it. I've blasted through almost a case of shells over the last 2.5 weeks. No problems whatsoever. The dura-touch armor is great, works well with gloves on or if your hands are a little sweaty (very warm last couple weeks in SD)

Couple of the things I really like (not sure what other guns might have the same features):

-can unload the magazine without chambering each shell.

-dura-touch coating

-first shell into the mag automatically chambers

-super easy to breakdown for clean

-easy to put a plug in (under 15 seconds)

-very little recoil

-comes with shims and spacers to adjust the fit.

-comes with 3 choke tubes (beware, comes from the factory with a "full" in)

So far I cant find anything I dont like about it.
