help on Lac Seul

Just wondering if anybody out there could recommend me to a resort on Lac Seul. It's for a friend of mines 30th B-Day. We are looking fo a palce you can drive to and use your own boat. And also it would be nice for this place to have a resturant/bar area. Any recommendations would be apprecialted. Thanks

The Ear Falls area is a great place to go for the first time. This area is best in May and June. Try Evergreen, Goose Bay, or Golden Fawn. I've stayed at all three and the owners do a good job. If you are going in May or June you need to get going and make a reservation. These resorts get booked solid in the early season. August fishing at Ear Falls is also very good. Ojibwa Outfitter at Chamberlin Narrow is also a great place. Fish are everywhere and not hard to hunt down. At Chamberlin Narrows you drive to the landing and they lead you out to the resort about 30 miles. I've fished CN four or five times in late August and have always had great fishing. When staying at CN we gennerlly take a couple of days and go on a pike hunt which is very rewarding.
