Rubber truck liner blues

Recommended Posts

So for the first time in about 3 years I lifted my rubber truck liner to clean out some dirt and rock and notices HUGE rust spots almost going stright threw the box itself. I usually have a topper on the back but rain and water can still makes its way under the liner. I now check it monthly and try to remove the rubber liner to air it out.

Just giving you a heads up so you don't ruin your box like I did...should be commen scense but it never crossed my mined I guess.

Spray on liner with a rubber mat on top of it is what I'm going to be going with when I get to that point with the truck I'm rebuilding.

I have seen some really nasty rust with the drop ins and rubber mats.

Good call with the heads up though, if its outa sight its out of mind until its too late most of the time.
