Moth balls...
I been chunk'n a hand-full of moth balls in my Otter ever year.
Cheap security against rats & varments.

Kinda messy havin' that white moth ball crud all over the floor... but once it snows, you cant tell the difference anyway!
Smells kinda nice too

yea hard water is coming... I've been hanging my fishtrap up in the garage and that seems to keep the critters away.. knock on wood... maybe I should check it

well actually, the moth balls dont work...the **** coons got in my house (ice house) and tore it all to dump.....drug in leaves and branches boy am i [PoorWordUsage]ed gotta buy a new house....

If you canvas top detaches, store it in a rubbermaid container.

I have had zero trouble with rodents since storing the canvas that way.
