help with deer skull mounting

I plan to mount a deer head this year if i get a buck on my first bow hunt. I want to do a eauropian deer skull mount since it can be free and i dont have cash for shoulder mounts. Problem with doing this is if i choose the boiling method i cannot do it in the trailer home and certainly not outside because of neighbors and people are going to ask questions when they see me boiling a deer head. Im thinking of doing it at a friends house. Well how long does it take to boil a head? Can i leave the head in water to boil for as long as possible? if doing so whats the worse that can happen? i expect that if doing so the meat will be very well cooked that i can simply brush all of it off. Im not looking for pro mounting and i expect to keep the skull the color it is when done not bleached. Any other alternatives? I want a eauro mount not the wall plaque mounts but if it will be too much of a hassle for me to go thru i will end up doing a regular wall plaque mount.
