If you want cheap and effective, check out the Rivers Edge. I bought mine a few years back at FF and it works nice, probably not one you are going to sit in for an all day sit.

I do like the fact that there are no cables to worry about, all bolted together.

I have packed this thing in with bow and back pack and walked quite a ways, with no major gasping for air.
