1DIRTBALL
markit, A little more information on what you plan on doing that day before I can give any kind of accurate answer would help. Are you going to launch and just paddle constantly while you enjoy the passing scenery? Where do you plan on launching from, Tarzan Elm's or Montesippi Park? Do you plan on stopping often to fish interesting looking spot's? There is one thing you can do to make your float and egress much easier. Park the vehicle you plan to use for hauling your canoe at the spot where you will be ending your trip. Then head on out to where you plan to launch for the start of your trip. This will eliminate the necessity of having someone meet you at the area where you plan on ending your trip. Also you won't have to concern yourself about having to arrive at any certain time. This does make it necessary to dazzle some poor, unsuspecting soul to come along and drive home the vehicle you used to haul your canoe to your launch site. I've done this float by lauching at Tarzan Elm's and stopping and fishing at every interesting looking spot. It took a lot longer than I thought it would so I had to hurry and pass up too many place's that looked too good to pass. Even doing that it was getting pretty dark by the time I got to Dayton. Of course, now I know better. Later...1DIRTBALL
