Walleye_GFA
Ive been watching In-Fisherman for a long time and noticed that they have seemingly become more and more commercial... endorsing certain products and taking my learning / watching time to make me watch more commercials... For about a year now I have been thinking I should call them and let them know... so I did... I left a message on the machine. Within 20 minutes I got a call back from Mike Carney, the Producer of the show, who talked to me about why the "endorsements" and fishing in general... Can not believe they actually called back... as it turns out they get about 150 emails and calls per week from people wanting more info on what they used, so they started telling more info... some even if they are not advertisers... Also I did not know that they use 100% public waters, no private or farm ponds... Anyway was refreshing to actually get some info, let alone a call from the producer... restores my faith in television.,.. Later, Wally

Pherris
Good to hear. Maybe calling is the way to go. I have been a subscriber to In fish and Walleye Insider for a long time and when they did the video thing a few weeks back I sent them an e-mail letting them know about my dissatisfaction and also gave them links to various message threads on the subject and never even got the courtesy of a response. I guess they may have been busy. I have not received any more unsolicited product so maybe they were listening. Overall they do have a decent publication and I am glad to hear they will take the time to respond on occasion.
