Leech bedding?

Has anybody tried using leech bedding to keep their leech's instead of keeping them in water?
Heard it works pretty good and keeps them lively since it keeps them clean.
I was just thinking about trying the stuff this year to see if it works.

I used Fat And Sassy Leech Bedding last year and it really worked good. You add a little bit of water to get it moist and toss 'em in. It kept my leeches alive for about 2-months. I kept thebox of leeches in the fridge. Bruce Mosher

Sweet, looks like I'll be trying this stuff this year! Hopefully the leeches stay good all summer.
