Hey,

I am leaving on the 10th of July to my 2 daughters and wife to Rainy Lake. We will be renting a houseboat with Northernaire just east of International Falls. I am an avid walleye fisherman and will be towing our own boat. I have gps on the boat. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the area and the fishing that time of year. Can anyone offer any advise or tips on the area, hot spots, depth and presentations etc?? Thanks, Dustin

I might suggest you post your questions in the Rainy Lake forum. There are many there who know this lake very well.

I have stayed at Woody's resort and they have put me on some awesome fish more than once.

Good luck on your houseboat.

Sounds like a blast.
