Help for 1988 Chrysler/Force Outboard

I have a 1988 Chrysler/Force 85hp outboard and I am having trouble getting it to turn over. It almost acts like a dead battery but I just replaced the battery this year. I also bought a new starter and replaced that, same issue. Anyone have any ideas what else might be causing it? Also, does anyone know any marine dealers or outboard repair shops that still service Chrysler/Force motors? I have called around and no one seems to service them any longer. Thanks.

Do you know any history on this motor, or did you buy it this way?

I'm trying to understand if it's a recent development that it doesn't turn over or not.

Have you tried pulling the spark plugs and seeing if it will turn over without them?
