Just wondering if anyone braved the cold to get out there?

We're planning on trying it late this week, and on the weekend.

At least to see what kind of shape the lake is in...

IM,

If you can get to Maxwell Bay look for suspended Crappies at 17-18' in 33-35ft. of water, use small hooks or jigs and a crappie minnow or Grubs...
