leechlake
It sounds like the water levels on lakes in northern Minnesota are 18"-24" low presently. If that holds any different plans from a normal walleye opener you would employ.
smartguy
In the Brainerd area, the water levels are really down this year. Lake Edward and Pelican lake seem to be a good foot (at least) below last year's levels.
AaronM
I am not quite sure on this but in the last 2 weeks, some parts in n. minnesota got anywhere from 4-20 inches of snow. This might raise the levels a bit depending on what lakes you fish. ------------------"Hard work beats talent when talent doesnt work hard"
Guest
I'd be sure to keep my motor "trimmed" and not race around a lake I'm not totally familiar with.As I've experienced over the years, if any area of structure is a common fish holding spot, the fish will still be there, provided the structure is still a safe depth, or it still holds forage.------------------Chells
