Staying there in 2 week with some buddies, none of us have ever been! Just looking for some general info! Were having a little contest for bass/northerns/muskie and wondering if I cast standard size lures are these also affective for muskies? Or should I switch too larger ones? Not really looking for giants just #'s! Any lure recommendations? Also, heard that there is no trolling allowed, is this true? Thanks!

If I were you, I'd stop at the Happy Hooker (I think that would be the closest bait shop) and ask him what's working out there but if it's numbers you're after, smaller would probably be better. And in Sawyer County trolling is allowed only on Chetac, Grindstone, Lac Courte Oreilles, Nelson, Round, Whitefish and Windigo lakes.
