Lowrance Settings

What do you have the sonar settings on your Lowrance LCX & LMS units? I fish MN lakes and am fishing typically 50' or less. Any help is appreciated.

Nice write-up! That's about where I have my x28c set at, but the sonar background tip has me intrigued so I'll have to check that out tomorrow on the lake.

Do you find that having the colorline set too high affects the ability to judge bottom hardness? It seems like on mine I don't get the good color change when going between hard and soft bottom if I set it in the 70's.

yes you dont want the colorline to high....

I changed the background option to the one you mentioned and I really like it. The fish seem to stand out from the clutter a lot better.
