Removing Livewell

Hello all,

I am thinking about removing my livewell from my 15' crestliner. I am want to add a rod locker and lockable box for all my tackle. I really don't use my livewell. Has anyone else done this with regrets, or anything that you learned from this that you would like to pass on?

Well if you ever want to sell that boat you just shot yourself in the foot. What I have done though is pull the drain line off the bottom and plug it. That way no water will creep back up, and you can use it for dry storage.
