Back in feb. I recieved some great advice from the group here on fish finders. Big "C" had the eagle 642c on sale for $329. It was on close out and I knew that. Got notice a few days after I ordered it stating it was back ordered. I called on it several times and was told every time it will be avalable, but we don't know exactly when. Vendor would let them know and as soon as avalable they would pass on that info. So I never thought of looking else where. WELL, got an e-mail yesterday saying the manufacturer will no longer supply any more units. This 5 days before opener.

So now its plan "B". But not exactly sure what that is. Now I realize I won't find that type of unit for that kind of money at this time of year. I'm basicly looking for some recomendations on another unit under $500 that might fit, with some what similar features. Color, gps, ect... Any and all help is appreciated!
