New build, graduation rod for family friend

A family friend back home wanted a walleye rod for his daughter's graduation. I built it on a Batson ISJ782 blank and used the New Guide Concept System for placing the guides. The rod casts effortlessly! The photo doesn't do any justice to the lettering on the rod. I created the graphics using holographic paper and the lettering really jumps in the sunlight.

Very nice work!!!

I have a new one I just built for my sister in law that just came out of the dryer this am. Waiting for some sun to take some pics, I have lousy luck with flash pics when the finish is on. Could probably use some photo lessens wink
