Fins-n-feathers
We currently have two yellow labs and the hair is getting pretty bad. I have heard about the furminator latley and I just wanted to know-does it work? The web site has all those pics and every thing but it would be nice to hear it from somebody who isn't trying to sell it to me. Thanks
MinnesotaMongo
I have one. It works well - but it isn't magic - you still got a LOT of combing to do.I like it...

Wanderer
I was able to try a friend's once. I was happy with it but I haven't coughed up the 50 bones to get one of my own yet.
DuckDog
I have not found a better brush out there. You still have to comb your dog, but it takes more off then anything else out there... hands down.
jigging-matt
It works great on my Britt. Well worth the money.
MR.PB
As noted, you will still have to USE the Furminator--but it does do a nice job with the 2nd layer of hair on a Lab. Someone from an earlier post directed me to a site with a Bay in it and the costs are as low as $19. Wellworth it.We brush our Lab 2-3 times per week in the spring. tsande00
I picked one up yesterday after hearing nothing but rave reviews from friends and family. As others mentioned, it still takes time and a lot of brushing - especially the initial use (from what I hear). I pulled off two plastic shopping bags full of hair yesterday from my lab. He's never looked better. Plus there is a push button to eject all the hair from the brush - works slick. I told my wife it's almost fun to use.For indoor dogs, it's money VERY WELL spent! PerchPounder
I have had mine for a few years now and would be lost without it having 3 labs. I've borrowed it to a couple people and they are now proud furminator owners as well. I bought mine off the bay site as well lucked out and got mine for $15 shipped to me.
