I have two manual Scotty Downriggers on my boat w/60" 1.25 diam. booms and I am thinking about upgrading to electrics. I have a lead on a couple of 1099 Scotty Electrics for a real decent price but they have the short booms.

Does anyone know if I can use the bigger, longer booms from my manuals on the 1099 electrics?
