what is slate and were can i get it to make a turkey call? im not a turkey hunter but would love to make a turkey call for the future if i ever decide to hunt them. any other ways to make turkey calls?

asking because im bored and was inspired to make some calls after seeing vids of homemade calls.

what other game species calls can i make?
