We are still accepting team registrations for the 2010 Alexandria Spring Walleye Classic set for June 4-5 on the Alexandria Chain of lakes, and the Lake Minnewaska Fall Walleye Classic set for Sept. 11-12 in Glenwood, MN.

Top 20% that fish both tournaments will qualify for the no entry fee year-end championship, the Buffalo Ridge Resort Fins & Feathers Outdoor Challenge, set for Oct. 16-17 in Gary, SD.

Teams have the option of paying either a $350 entry fee or a $400 entry per tournament. Teams that pay the $400 entry fee per tournament and finish in the top 20% after both tournaments qualify for the year-end championship, which features a Day 1 competitive pheasant hunt followed by a Day 2 walleye tournament.

We're anticipating another great bite for this year's Spring Walleye Classic on the Alexandria Chain. Four teams surpassed 20-lb. single day weights a year ago, with two of those teams surpassing 21-lbs. for one day weights. Numerous fish in the 25 to 30-inch class were caught during pre-fishing and the tournament.

Deadline to enter the Alexandria Chain of Lakes Spring Walleye Classic is Tuesday, June 1. If you are planning to fish this event please get your entries mailed in. Tournament dates are Friday-Saturday,

June 4-5.

Lake Victoria will be off limits for this year's Alexandria Chain of Lakes Spring Walleye Classic. Victoria has been closed down to all boat traffic from Lake Geneva to Victoria and vice versa.

Teams fishing this year's Spring Walleye Classic will be limited to lakes Darling, Carlos, LeHomme Dieu and Geneva.
