huntercj
I got a couple of questions on my trailer. I am going fishing in the morning so i thought i would grease my bearings got the tire and center cap off and i find out its a oil bath hub. Wondering what kind of oil to use and if any special maintence is needed they both got corect amount of oil and the oil looks clean. Also wondering if there are more problems with oil bath hubs? cbrooks
On my shoreland trailer hub tires has a zerk under the center cap. So I need a grease gun and the stuff I use is cabelas brand its "extreme presure marine grease" comes in a 14oz tube. When you grease up the hub you don't want to over do it. Just give it a few pumps and check it in between trips and they will be fine. I pull my boat all over never had any problems.Heading to Rainy. Good luck up there. Big Buck Buster
Gear lube. You can get synthetic, or standard. Synthetic comes in 75w-90, 75w-140, or you can just go with the standard 80w-90.Here is some info for the hubs you have: http://www.boatus.com/trailerclub/TurboLube.htmBBB
