Trolling batteries

One of my 2 trolling batteries(I think they are Interstate)are giving me a bad battery code at the end of the charge. They are 3 years old.

Should I dump both and replace them? Just replace one? Or just try to see if it might work since the code comes up at the end of the charge?

Thanks

Could have them load tested to be sure.

If they are wired in parallel (12v system) then one bad battery has a good chance to destroy the other especially if it is causing a low impedence condition (short-circuit). If they are wired in series (24v system) you should be okay replacing just the defective one if you discover it is defective.
