Cedar Lake (Scott Co.) Panfish Tourney?

Hi There,

Does anyone know if the annual Panfish Tourney on Cedar is still being planned. I think the New Prague Sportsmens' Club sposors it but it was always coordinated by the man who ran Simon's bar and he unfortuanltely passed away last year.

I fished it several times and it's always a fun way to start off the spring. Fun people, laid-back atmosphere. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

i believe its may 1st. its on the dnr's tourney list so im sure it is still going on, i will be there with my dad fishing it for the first time! i was told that every year its the worst weather of the spring at this tourney by people here in town lol

It's on. I believe it will be held in a memorial format for Phil Simon. More details to come. Be sure to check out the New Prague Sportsman's Club group page for more information. Maybe MNice can comment.

I will also fish this one for the first time with my son...love the idea of a father/son tourney. I have registered and have the flier right here.

May 8th, from 9:30-2:30; report in by 8:30 at HQ

Everyone starts and finishes from LeMeiux's Resort on the north side.

Cost is $65/boat, two fishermen in a boat.

Just checked again, got my confirmation today.

Maybe two different tourneys? This one is from the Cannon River Sportsman's Club and its a Crappie Tourney.

I see it now...different counties...
