submersible LED lights for boat trailer

I have had problems over the years with buying "cheepo" lights for my boat trailer having lots of problems with bulbs breaking and plus they are just a hassle lubing the contact surfaces all the time, and they always seem to get corroded anyway.

I am just wondering what people think of spending more money for LED trailer lights, if it would be worth it or not. Are they hardier than the cheepos? I would rather buy a product, put 'em on, and not have to hassle with it.

What do yout think?

Heck yeah, I would. As soon as my incandescents die, I will be wiring up LEDs.

Best thing I've ever bought for my trailer. Nice and bright and they virtually never burn out.

You can get a pair at Northern Tool for like 40-50 bucks

They cost more initially, yet the dependability end life expectancy is far greater and quickly compensates for any increase in price. If replacing a trailer kit, I would recommend the upgrade for sure.

Agree with dtro. Our family boat has them, I changed incandescents monthly at least on that thing before the LEDs. Best investment you can make and cheaper than you'd think.

Ill be doing the same this summer. As soon as the 1st bulb burns out its all LED from there.

I'm also a big fan of LED's on the trailer. Brightness, Low-maintenance and one less thing to worry about when towing. Well worth the investment. Not to mention they look neat submerged underwater.
