I was wondering if anyone on this forum has had experience with super wide angle lenses. I am specifically looking at a Nikon 20mm 2.8d super wide angle lense. I will be using this lens for closeups and landscape. I think that it would be a very fun lense to experiment with, does anyone have any thoughts on this type of lens?

My most recent lens is a Nikon 12-24 DX ... and for the past couple years it has become one of my favorites. I like to get physically up close to objects when shooting and this kind of lens is just right. It adds a great new perspective for many photo assignments/tasks. The 2.8 would be great, too. As a prime lens, I'm sure it would produce excellent images.
