Skeets
Minnewaska is a great fishery for almost every freshwater species. It is a large lake, at over 7000 acres. Not much structure, a few steep breaks that bottom out at about 35'. For walleyes, try pulling #5 shad raps at dusk in under 10' of water.Live bait rigs can be successful during the day in deeper water. The lake is loaded with blugill & crappies. Right now, they are up shallow getting ready to spawn. They are a very easy catch, this may be the best time to fish panfish all year long. Muskie and big northerns also roam this body of water. Bucktails and large jerk baits should get their attention. The muskie action really heats up when the water temp rises during late June/July/August.Minneweaska is one awesome fishery. There are endless spots to fish and PLENTY of fish to be caught! Good Luck,Skeets
Grabs
BFJ, check out the Alex forum, that is where your original thread has ended up. Someone originally moved it to South Central, but then moved it into Alex which is where is should be.
