Springfield Armory M6 Survival

Is anyone familiar with a Springfield Armory M6 Survival? It’s an over/under configuration with a .22LR on the top and a .410 shotgun barrel on the bottom. It folds in half for easy storage. There is storage under the cheek rest for both .22 rounds and .410 shells.

My research has uncovered a lot of Springfield Armory M6 Scout articles and images but not much on the Survival.

It appears to be a very unique firearm and I am curious as to how old it might be . . . a neat discovery found in my grandfathers collection; unfortunately, he is no longer around to tell us the story from where it came.

good guns, I can't tell you how long they were made for but I have two that shoot POA every time.
