Nuts4Fishin
Can anyone recommend a good place to get an older (2000) aluminum boat painted that has faded? I understand aluminum isn't easy to do and I'd like it professionally done right with new decals. I'm on the north NW side of the metro but that won't stop me from going a ways for a good job. Any help is appreciated.
Steve Bakken
I know it's a ways to drive, but if you'd like to have us take a look at it for you, we've been professionally refinishing boats for 25 years now. walleyemaniac
Hey Steve, you and your father put new floors and carpet in my boat a couple of years ago. 17ft. Crestliner grey. I,m from the marshall area. Are you guys busy? How long does it usually take to paint a boat (two tone)? These guys did a terrific job on my floors. I'd say it would be worth the trip. They were priced right, did a great job, and they had it done before I expected it would be. Very friendly as well.
Steve Bakken
Thanks for the compliment, Walleye. We're not super busy yet, but once the roads clean up and the boats start coming out of storage, then it's a mad rush to get for everyone who wants to get em done by fishing opener. As far as how long it takes, we can usually get them in and out in a couple of weeks.
