Hopefully I have this right now.

The LaCrosse area has been a day to day event for all that swim the Mississippi. The pan fish have been comming in all kinds of areas. If your a shallow water angler (3-7 fow) the key is to find the green weeds and use a underwater camera. I wish I could give you the "HOT JIG" but all the norms seem to be good. Tip ups have also been one day hero and the next a zero. Today I was a zero with only one big perch to show for my efforts. Today I tried to tip-up fish some new areas that I have always thought would be good but no luck. The LaCosse area has had some very nice catches of pike this year. Some in the lower 20 lbs range and alot in the 12-15 lbs range.

I think its going to take old man winter to break his grip on us to get the bite hot and heavy again.. A few days in the upper 30's would be a nice start

Thanks for the report Scott, as the weather starts warming up those monster pike should start biting!
