Central MN Retriever club Informal Trial Jan 16th.

CMRC will be hosting the January Trial this Saterday the 16th. It looks like it is going to be a very nice day to be out with the dogs, our January thaw is just in time. There are classes for all stages of dogs, Puppy, Hunter, Derby, Qualifying, and Open.

No I don't think so sounds like they have it covered, this time. Hopefully I can run, throw some birds and spend some time taking pictures of the different stakes, for the web site

trial went good , good turnout and the weather could not have been better for Jan. I myself had a bad day, befor I realized it I had shot about 200 photo's and did not have a card in my camera, kind if like getting to the blind and forgetting your shells, so no pictures of the trial, bummer, and I had to handle on the last bird ( long retired up the middle) AGAIN. We were sitting pretty good up untill then, it all goes back to the fact that you need to get ALL the birds and it usually ends up being the last one that gets you.

It's a little frustrating but I have to remind myself that he is 3 1/2 and WE have alot to learn. Big difference between "Q" and all age....

All in all a great day..

Well, take solice in the fact that you were running under a couple of very good, seasoned AA judges in Steve and Rick.

Sorry to hear about the camera deal. Chalk it to an "Oh well" and move on I guess.
