Shappell Ice House Zippers

I have a DX4000 ice house (nearly new) and have had problems with the zippers kinking. Does anyone know of a place in the upper mid-west that replaces them with a higher quality zipper for a reasonable price. I am down to one door. If the other one goes, we may sink with the melting ice in the coming months. Captian going down with his ship... Thanks!

My hometown has a Shoe Repair guy that replaces zippers in just about anything. Maybe look up a Shoe Repair business in your area and check with them. That or maybe an Upholstery place, as they would probably have them big sewing machines too.

I would recommend Canvas Crafts Inc. in Ramsey MN or Rogers MN. I have had nothing best the best of luck having zipper repairs done by them. IMO for what they do and what you get, their pricing is very good.

Thanks guys! I will check out your tips and see what they say. The canvas is stapled on and the people would likely have to re-staple that on. I would imagine it is a good size job. Talk to you soon!
