Fins-n-feathers
My family has used an old alumicraft ducker for the past 15 years. This boat is phenonomal because it is so light and stable. But, alas, my family is growing, and we are finding that one boat is not enough. The closest replica we could find to the 'ol ducker is some of the Mud duck boats. Does anyone have any experiance with these duck boats?Any help would be appreciated.

Hookmaster
I have used the alumacraft ducker and purchased one last spring so I know what you mean. I was looking at other similar boats as well. The Mud Duck is similar in design, maybe a little deeper but twice as heavy. It wouldn't work for what I wanted because of the weight. MN Greenheads
My cousin has one and I can tell you they are heavy but bigger and more seaworthy than a original ducker (my best friend owns on of those). For the cost you might want to look at a canoe, a fiberdome wigeon or a carstens. I can't say anything bad about a mud ducker other than weight. That original ducker is one great feat of design balance except for the pole holes that were a hair weak but can be beefed up.
