IGFA record flaw?

Read in a favorite magazine about Adam Knnrad that landed a 43lb 10 oz rainbow from Sakatchewan's Lake Diefenbaker. After genetic testing it tested as a triploid - three sets of chromosomes that makes this hatchery raised trout grow faster. In the end IGFA declared Adam's rainbow the world record.

Now this September Adam's brother Sean Konrad catches a 48 lb triploid monster, shattering his brother's record.

Should a triploid be considered a world record? It is certainly not a WILD trout. Did the IGFA make the right decision?

I heard those fish were fish farm escapees. Big fish yes, record maybe not. Igfa recognizes big fish. IMO it should not be a record, because lake defenbaker would not have all these big trout if there was not a fish farm that lost some fish through holes in the net. Sure triploids are "natural" but not in this case. Not a record to me.
