We are planning our first trip the week after Christmas and looking for some ice information. I need to know how we are getting around on the ice. Is it a snowmobile, 4 wheeler, Ranger or can we leave all the trailers behind and drive the trucks on the ice. Fishing reports would be welcome but not critical. Does anyone know anything about Stevens Bay?

The fishing was very good over the weekend but the high pressure Monday and cold front gave the fish lockjaw. There is a foot of good ice and about 8 inches of snow with scattered pockets of slush. Gordy was all over the lake Tuesday with the plow & drag. He is much braver than me to be driving with the current conditions.
