25 perch 1 eye between us
Coudln't find many aggressive fish
1 caught on minnow head, 3 caught on small minnows, the rest on small jigs & waxies

very light bite even with spring bobbers it was hard to tell when they picked up the bait
the guys with the camera's did better than most, when they saw the fish mouth the jig set the hook

As I said the guy's with the camera's did the best.
It was my first outing with the new LX-3 & I loved it. the zoom is awesome I'm heading out in the morning to try it on some crappies the kids found this afternoon.
All week I had tons of lookers but not many takers.
If I jigged too much they lost interest, too little they lost interest, found my best action slightly wiggling the smaller jigs ON the bottom.

Have you tried the Chubby Darter CD-6 in the Hot Perch (HP) or the Gold Orange (GMO) yet? They have done very well with them up on the timber and on the flats in late wnter.
