J.A.Say.Tree
Hey, Just curious how much rain you've been getting up in that area? Specifically south of Devils towards Carrington? The potholes were noticably lower last Fall, and I'm hoping you've been getting some rain this spring?????water=ducks (a simple equation)JA! Guest
We received over 5 inches of rain over the last 10 days. All of the wetlands are full again. However that will not necessarily equal a high waterfowl count this fall since a lot of nests drowned out due to the flooding. I saw several nests in dry wetlands that are now full of water. A saw many hen mallards and pintails sitting in water during the high runof event the preceding days. The weather following the rain was cold and dreary. It was funny to see so many hens. This shouldn't affect the Canada geese of which are rearing their broods now.------------------Kevin Neve's Devils Lake Guide Servicefishingminnesota.com/kevin-neve-guiding/e-mail: [email protected]Phone: 701-473-5411 or 701-351-4989Minnewaukan ND
