How's the walleye bite?

Heading to Devils Lake, ND next week. This is my first trip there. Looking for information on the walleye bite. What are the best baits and locations? Thanks in advance

The walleye bite is very good to extremely excellent. We are using slipbobber/leech combos mostly. We are catching them pitching cranks shallow and trolling cranks.

Some days it is a time-of-day bite where they turn on for brief periods throughout the day.
