White Bass on Devil's Lake

Where can I find these fish on the lake and what time of the season. This will be my first trip up to ND from MN. Thanks, any information will help.

I posted a little under another topic in regard to white bass.

There is no limit on white bass. The game and fish did post limits on perch, crappies amd bluegills but left out white bass.

The best time for white bass will be in early June when the make their normal run. The lack of runoff and current will more than likely make them harder to come by again this year at especially from shore. But remember fishing is fishing and one can guess as to the prospects for any year and look awfully dumb one way or another.

We caught some real nice ones this winter in the three pound range in 30-40 feet of water for a couple of weeks.

Concentrate near rocks and current areas for the best chances for success.
