I was wondering if anyone else from this forum will fishing the PWT in Devils Lake this July. If you are interested I know they still have some openings left. The info is located on the in-fisherman HSOforum.

If anybody is fishing the PWT and needs a room, I rent a bedroom for $25 a day in Minnewaukan. I'm 20 miles from the city of DL, on the West Bay (Minnewaukan Flats) Satellite TV, full kitchen use. If I am not guiding you can fish with me. We can split the gas.

Openings still exist as far I as I know on the amateur side for the PWT.

I do not know about the pro side.

The one week closed period before the open pre-fishing period discourages the locals from fishing the tournament as pros. You basically have to give up two weeks of guiding plus fork over the $1000 entry fee.
