Summer Wallye Trip

We are planning a trip to Devils Lake the second week in June. This is the first time we have been up in many years. How on average is the Walleye fishing this time of year and were are some good spots to try .

Fishorwork...Specific spots in spring will depend on wether or not the water is rising or stable, how much further the trees have deteriorated etc. I can't predict which point or area of the lake will be best at this time. Devils Lake will be a "new" lake again this year with different challenges do to the ever changing water levels.

Generally speaking you can fish the way you like be it pitching jigs or hard baits, slipbobber with leeches, pull cranks or whatever that time of year. Location of the fish will determine your presentation.
