Is there a safe place to acces the lake on Black Tiger Bay?

Also, is there someone who sells bait there without driving into town.

I am just looking for a spot so the wife can go along and catch something, anything.

Right now, I would rather be looking down a hole in the ice at my bobber than what I have been doing lately.

You can get on Black Tiger along the highway at the first field approach at the bay coming from St Michael or Devils Lake. It is on the curve. You actually will drive in the field for 100 yards or so and drive near the cattails.

You can get bait at the Casino's Bait Shop. Look for the big wind turbine.

Chart since you are coming from GF take the exit at the rest area. You can get bait at the East Bay camp ground. You can either get on the lake right there and drive to the left or you can get back on the road, take the Tiger Bay exit and get on at the boat launch. Both places have signs you you know when to turn. Let me know how you do.
