So from the information that my buddy has there is a lot of corn out in the fields yet. Does anyone know what the hunting is like if there is that much corn left? I know that the gun season was open and wondering how people did. I did not hear any reports from that way. We are to be heading out to my buddys opening weekend of MZ to shoot some doe's. Just wondering if things are getting done or if it is just going to be a [PoorWordUsage] shoot?

Thanks for any info.

I hunted the east river deer season. I managed to get a doe on the opening day and a buck on the second day. There was lots of corn in the fields on opening wekend, but the farmers were out combining. I was out pheasant hunting Thankgiving weekend and there was lots of corn being combined.

There is going to be a few big corn fields here and there. For the most part I would say 70% of the corn is harvested in the area I hunted.
